How Mepore Works: Mepore’s Sontara nonwoven fabric is porous, allowing air and water vapor permeability while remaining flexible and conforming to body contours. This non-absorbent fabric acts as a barrier against blood and fluid strike-through. Its polyacrylate adhesive is skin-friendly and ensures secure fixation. The dressing’s wound pad absorbs moderate amounts of fluid, and its low-adherent contact layer minimizes risk of sticking to the wound. An easy-to-remove protection paper allows for sterile application and simplifies the dressing process.
